After you treat for a while, you will likely get more positive bands.
I started out with a negative test, and just a clinical diagnosis. A year into treatment, I tested CDC IGM positive. Thus backing up the clinical diagnosis.

It sounds like you are herxing, which is a good thing--the antibiotics are killing the Lyme. It's not unusual for the first herx to hit three or four days into treatment.
Please try not to be anxious, this will pass. Just try and rest.
You might try drinking some lemon juice and water to help you detox (get rid of the dead bacteria) or taking an epsom salt bath.
Are you taking a magnesium supplement? That might help with the twitching.

Have you been tested for coinfections too? If not, I'd recommend it. Chances are you will probably have at least one - perhaps the Bartonell-like organism - if not more.
Good Luck with your treatment. I got a lot worse with treatment and there was a time or two I was questioning whether this was what I should be doing or not, but these past few weeks I have been feeling better than I have in years!

Bartonella was the first one to come back and was negative along with something else startignwith and E. I am new to this. I saew a reputable LLMD in NY, He treated my sister in law as well.
My nerves now are about my 2 little boys ( 3 and 5) each had a tick inbedded in them for about 24 hours before I noticed it 1 and 2 years ago .
I listened to their ped and believed him when he said that they were fine bc no rash formed and they had no flu like symptoms. Now I wonder.
