I started with 16 amalgams, I have 8 left to remove. Should be done by the end of the year, then will start Andy Cuttler's chelation protocol.
I'm worried that it will all be too much with Lyme treatment going on as well
any advice or thoughts?

I started with 2 DMPS infusions (did the dmps 5 hour test and one other insfusion) then read Cutler's book and found out how much he disliked DMPS. Not all doctors agree that you need to get the amalgams removed before you start chelation.
I did about 8 before all my amalgams were removed. I had tremors and fainting spells that were cause problems with my work (you think). So I asked my DO and she said she had not had any issues with her patients still having amalgams and getting chelations.
So I went slow on the chelations and have gone after it more now that my amalgams have been removed. I am up to 17 or 18 and started abx about 10 weeks ago. I am also doing 4 of the major Buhner herbs. Both my son (who also has lyme and heavy metals) and I have not had issues with the DMPS infusion. I did the Cutler protocol and get my dmsa from vrp.com (I think they have a sale going till the 16th). But I just had a difficult time waking up at night and then getting back to sleep. Since I did not have issues with the DMPS infusions I stayed with that.
All the Best, MattH
