I really need help here. I was told to get a Fir infared sauna. I know nothing about how your supposed to use them, for how long can you use them if you still have metals in them, do you herx from them, do you shower after being in one, etc. etc. Also, I want to buy a 2 person one, is there something I should look for in a good one. Anyone who could give me any info on this would REALLY be helping me out. Thank you so much and Be Well.

I would start with some good binders a few weeks before using one. You don't want the metals and such floating around able to go to the brain, or be reabsorbed.

I have had a Sunlighten for more than 5 years and it's been great. It's good for detox. My LLMD had me take some extra minerals because I used it every day.
I'd start out slowly. Maybe get it when it's cold, turn in on and stay in maybe 20-30 min. Then work up from there ... maybe start letting it pre-heat (though I believe more sticky sweat came out at the cooler temps) ... maybe stay in longer. Play around with it, see what works for you.
Drink enough water. I sprinkled Himalayan Salt in my water.
I always got a shower immediately afterward. I only used natural soaps since my pores were open from the sauna, you don't want to inhibit detoxification.

I just got a FIR Sauna today! I'm so excited. I only was in it for about 20 minutes. I didn't sweat much.
I can't wait to start busting out the toxins.
