I can't seem to tell the difference between a herx and maybe this illness getting worse? SO you're doing ok on it..I haven't tried tindamax yet, what are your symptoms on it?
Need to speak to my doctor tomorrow, scared of this stuff. Thank you, good luck to you too!

The babesia herx is horrible. Hang in there and you will get through it. I had increased dizziness too. It can also make you extremely depressed and fatigued.

Everyone has the same tune when they herx, just different words!
I just remember staying in bed while the days flew by, until one day I could get up and move again.
Other times, I have had extreme fatigue... keep us posted...

Sorry you are not feeling well. I hope it passes quickly for you.
Daughter is about 6 weeks into treating Babs with Low dose Malarone.
I wonder anyone experience increased breathlessness, lack of oxygen? Daughters is worse since last week.
Like Nefferdun stated, The depression is worse. Also more achiness and soreness.
Best of luck

Jane2904 - The breathlessness or "air-hunger" is a babs symptom. I get it too, it has actually gotten better now that I think of it. It will resolve with treatment.
Today I had slight head/ear pressure and less dizziness. Go figure, one day horrible and the next pretty good. They say your good days begin to out weigh you bad ones.
Blessings of good health to all of you !

Like fflutterby said, babesia treatment is very up and down. You can feel really good and then for no apparent reason crash again. It feels like ground zero but the bottom is not as deep each time you fall. It is like three stairs up, two down, until finally you get on top of it.
I was thinking I was over it but it is hitting me again. Nothing like it was but still there. We have to be so persistent! It is hard with babesia because it also makes you so depressed.
It always hits me mentally/emotionally first. I lose faith, motivation and then, the survival instinct. When the physical symptoms come on, like the fatigue and dizziness, I realize what is happening.
