For those of you CD57 knowledgeable folks out there, I have a question.
My CD57 was tested for the first time, and it returned a result of 20. I understand that twenty is quite low.
My Lyme has been being treated since the fall of 2010, and my coinfections (Babesiosis and Bartonellosis) have been being treated since the early summer of 2011. I was sick for over a decade (and in all likelihood for thirty years).
My question is, in terms of tick-borne diseases that influence the CD57, is it only the Lyme that is to blame? Or, can the other bad guys (co-infections) be at fault?
I wonder just how long it will take to boost my CD57 upwards?

Not sure the lyme docs really know the answer to this (undiscovered territory). I have been sick for at least 15 years (didn't know it), but after the past several tick bites, I got a lot more co infections (my cd57 is 175). I've heard that some of the sickest people have high cd57s, so there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.

What a pointless test. I suspect I have bartonella ONLY and have a cd-57 lower than yours.
