I am concerned about my liver health, and this stuff is tough on the liver. As I understand it, it also has a long half-life in the body. Just wondered if once a week would be ok to control candida, using nystatin in between?
My doc wasn't concerned (he gave me enough to take 2 weeks in a row), but knowing how my liver responds to Diflucan, I am being cautious.

I used to take it before I knew I have had lyme.It made me feel better.
While on it do not push yourself to take it everyday.back than when I was not sick with active lyme I took it straight 2 weeks but now I know I am going to suffer.Take binders to bind the toxins released from the die off.

I had no problems with my liver and diflucan. I took liver support supplements (e.g. THorne S.A.T. and Cysteplus). BLood work was excellent with those.

I took it for a few months at a time, and never once had abnormal liver tests. Of course I ALWAYS take large amounts of milk thistle, 3 times a day, to help my liver and gall bladder.
After that, I tended to take it one week a month, and daily oil of oregano in between. No issues.

Ok thanks all. I took about a month of diflucan several years ago and my liver enzymes went through the roof. I also take the thistle and urso now but just a little gunshy on the diflucan. Have to take it though as my yeast is rampant.

Those of you who take it everyday, do you think it has helped get rid of the Bb cysts?

Diflucan everyday and much happier for it. Blood draws each week and no problems.
