I'll make this short. I've been on a treatment regiment of 100mg/day of Doxy for 2 years. I have had some improvement, but no huge breakthroughs.

Well, I am beginning to relapse. At one point my doc had me on Zithromax and Minocycline for a couple months at low doses to no avail.

Any how my LLMD told me today that I since "I had failed with all of the tetracyclines and Zith" that he was putting me on 100mg/day of Dapsone to try out for thirty days.

I can hardly find any literature regarding Dapsone as an effecive drug to treat Lyme or any co-infections.

Am I missing something???? I feel like I am not being treated appropriately.

Has anyone had any experience with Dapsone?

Thank you

KY

I am aware of its "normal" use. Just curious how/if it's been used in the Lyme community. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
