A naturapathic dr i saw has recommended two teaspoons of a certain silver product (not colodial silver) to kill off bacteria he says it is a natural antibiotic!
I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with such a product.

I have not taken silver, but there's a candida protocol that uses what they call "biotic silver" which is supposed to be many times more effective than colloidal silver against a wide variety of pathogens because (from what I understand) the particles are much smaller than those in CS and get into even the smallest capillaries thus, not allowing the bugs to hide from it.
It sounds good, but it raises the same question that I have about colloidal silver. Does it cause the bacteria to go into cyst form and does it drive the bugs deeper?
Even if it does, the biotic silver might be preferable to abx because it doesn't kill the good bugs in the gut.
I might take some of this stuff myself if I get satisfactory answers to my questions about it.

Do you mean SilverBiotics? It's made with SilverSol.
My dog has a chronic eye infection and antibiotics weren't helping. So, I started using SilverBiotics in his eye and it is helping more than the antibiotics.
I've been taking it for about 2 months now, but probably not enough because I try to ration it since I share it with my pooch.

MY LLND had me on colloidal silver solution. Even Dr R in NYC was saying it was a good "add" to the supp's. Personally, i never noticed ANY effect... & I was on it- daily- for over 2 months, at the dosing my LLND recommended.
The more I read up on it.... and ALL internally-taken silver-containing products- the more skeptical I become. I dunno. The jury's still out. Very expensive tinted water in any event.
