This rash started on Monday. At first it was just on the inner part of my elbow and not itchy.

Yesterday I was in the sun fishing and noticed it started spreading after that. It has now moved up and down my arms and is pretty itchy. I haven't noticed it anywhere else.

Also I have been taking Mepron, zith and septra for the last 4 weeks. Thanks for any help.

I will try and post pics.

Been there done that.... stop the septra, call your doc, get some zyrtec before it gets worse. IMHO

I just emailed llmd some pics. Would it really be from the septra even after being on it a month now?

I wondered about yeast too but have no other problems in the mouth, female probs, etc.

I have some nausea in the am I think due to the fact that I can't really eat in the morning and that's when I have to take the septra and zith. It gets better after lunch.

Maybe try Zyrtec or Benadryl and see if it improves.

That could indicate it's an allergy.

Don't know what dose of mepron you are on, but that med can also cause rashes. Hubby's mepron rash appeared on day 10 of taking that med years ago.

Good luck figuring this out.

I had same type of rash last summer but wasn't on any meds. Everyone said it was poison ivy. (I don't think so)

Doesn't the Lyme rash come and go for no apparent reason?

Talked to llmd last Friday. She had me stop all meds until rash went away. I still have the rash and it itches!

She wants me to call her if I still had rash after 5 days of no meds so I guess I'll be calling soon. Not sure why it hasn't went away yet.

She did seem to think it was from a herd rather than an allergy. Either way I thought it would be gone by now.
