I started taking digestive enzymes last week (once per day with dinner). I'm taking Country Life's Maxi-zyme brand.
Last night after taking one before dinner I noticed that my mouth got really dry, and it's still dry today. Anyone had this experience when using digestive enzymes?
I also started last week using hemp protein (Nutiva brand). Up until yesterday, I had been using it once at breakfast by putting about a tablespoon in my oatmeal. Yesterday I used it twice--at breakfast and again at lunch with my yogurt.
If it's not the digestive enzymes, could the hemp powder be the culprit?
Ideas or similar experiences, anyone? Thanks.

I take digestive enzymes and personally dont have dry mouth.
I take the enzymes to break biofilm. If you are taking it for the same reasons you might want to check if taking them with a meal is a good thing. I take mines an hour away from food because I dont want then to be use for digestion of food but to break up biofilm. I might be wrong though

I take the same enzymes and don't have dry mouth from them. I've never tried hemp protein. If it dries the mouth, maybe I should try it - I have over-production of saliva!

I think digestive enzymes only affect our intestinal tract so we can absorb more nutrients. Maybe it's the hemp powder.
