Just curious if anyone has experienced this for an extended period of time? This pressure waxes and wanes throughout

the day and less noticeable in the morning. Sometimes it radiates to my temples and then recedes. I have noticed this

sx for about 7 weeks. I was having eye twitching issues, that seems to have resolved. I also get a head fullness/dizzy

feeling. The reason I am asking is that I got desperate for an answer and went to an ENT specialist last week. He

spent 5 minutes with me and said "it's just allergies". He gave me a steroid shot and prescribed some Flonase and sent

me on my way. Needless to say, I feel absolutely no different. Also, I have never been prone to respiratory allergies.

I'm on enough abx to treat a thoroughbred, and am thinking this may be a side effect or something. Just looking for

answers. I appreciate any responses.

Thanks

Sure sounds like sinusitis to me. You can have allergies now even if you haven't in the past, especially with Lyme. Very common.

Have you tried antihistamines like Allegra? Have you eliminated allergens from your diet like dairy, gluten, eggs? Have you tried nasal irrigation like with a neti pot or sinus rinse?

I have tried allegra & claritin to no avail. I do not eat gluten and very rarely have eggs or dairy. I have a

neti pot, but have not used it on a regular basis. It tried it for about a week when this all first started and

it did not seem to do anything. The fact that it subsides when I lay down and ramps up throughout the day has

me confused. Thanks.

really, frontal lobe? That's interesting because when I had my MRI done that's where the "non-specific white matter" was, in my right frontal lobe. And they told me it was normal.

This was all before I figured out why I was sick. So that was the babs?

It's not just allergies!

head fullness/dizzy feeling.

I've had this SEVERELY for 24 hours a day for years now and am completely crippled by it. I can't even leave the house. There's a few of us on the site that have it extremely bad.

I've treated it with everything except for a really tough babesia treatment which i'm about to do now.

also mine is more the top, side, and back of my head now. It's like it's filled with concrete.

I've seen it mentioned as Babesia a lot on here. Specifically the Duncani strain.

Have you been actively treating yeast? I had something similar, had both an Allegist and an ENT tell me it was chronic sinusitus, which disappeared when my LLMD put me on Diflucan for a couple months. Miraculously GONE.

If you are yeasty, you could develop allergies that you never had before.

Not sure if you are aware, but WHEN you take a 24 hour allergy med makes a ton of difference. (This was explained to me by Allergist).

Although the pills are 24 hours, it's reasonable to expect their effectiveness to be a bit top heavy, and a bit more helpful in the several hours after you first take it.

So, around 5-6pm, when your body is getting tired from the day, your immune system gets a bit lowered. And THIS IS WHEN you need your allergy med to be at full force, not in the am. So it was suggested to me to take Zyrtec at 3pm (Allegra and Claritin did nothing for me). And for me, it made a huge difference.

I am still having trouble with this issue. I went to another ENT and got scoped. He said that my sinuses look

great. This pressure/light headedness goes away when I lay down for bed and comes back slowly every morning

approximately an hour after I have got up. The ENT said that it should feel worse when I lay down if it was

sinus issues. I am on a 80% yeast free diet and take good probiotics. Does anyone have any idea what this could

be? Thanks
