My son is taking Cipro for the 'crud.' I am nervous about the tendonitis side effect.
We have been taking 1 Theralac and Floristor/day for a while. Should we up the dose to prevent yeast, c-diff etc?
Also, how much Mg and can you take Mg along with the probiotics?
Thanks.

Watch your timing of vitamins/supplements with cipro. I'm on it. The pamphet info states that you are to wait 2 hours after taking it to take supplements(like we all normally do)
But, it also warns that you should wait 6 hours after taking supplements before taking cipro.
hopefully someone else will chime in w info on how much to take of the probiotics and magnesium.
I take magnesium to a point where i don't get the runs. As much as my body can tolerate. Typically 1000mg a day. But, I'm an adult.

Thanks, Laura. Have you noticed any tendon or nerve pain?

Dr had me stop for a week due to vision issues and my joints were popping. But, during that week of not taking it my symptoms got worse. lots of leg muscle spasms, heel pain, feeling after 5 minutes that i HAD to sit down, more nerve issues etc.
So, Im back to trying it again. Thought being we were actually doing some good with it.
Wondered how you guys were doing with it?
