What would happen if I had flushed my lyme and co riddled body with myers cocktails and vitamin C every day or every other day?

Plus all the hangover pills they sell in stores is just loaded with B and C. And I feel hungover 24/7.

Just seems like there is so many people not better after years of ABX. I know there's more than one way to skin a cat.yuk

Been there -- done that.

Hubby did Myers cocktails daily for about 45 days if I remember correctly -- this was before any antibiotics.

And then when he did IV rocephin the first time he did daily IV vitamin C as well. At least by that time he had a PICC line and I had been trained to do the IV's so they were not so expensive. We actually continued the vitamin c IV's weekly for a year or two.

Bottom line is that the IV's were of very little benefit. Temporarily helped with some symptoms but no long lasting effects. But at the time any help at all with symptoms was worthwhile.

Daily IV glutathione for a couple of years also only helped some with symptoms -- the right brand of oral alpha lipoic acid has been cheaper and easier to maintain.

This is not medical advice, just my opinion based on hubby's experiences.

How much Vit. C is in Meyer's Coctail?

Linus Pauling used massively huge doses of IV Vit. C (50,000mg) for curing cancer... And he used the sodium ascorbate form, not the ascorbic acid form of Vitamin C.

Outerspace1226, you might want to look into something called the Salt/C protocol for Lyme/parasites (search here on LymeNet and Google). Some find it very, very beneficial and it is all oral/no need for IV anything.
