Since i tested negative for the two tests that
they can run for babs, I've never been sure that

I had babs. Just recently went through a whole host of heck with my muscles, especially my

legs, with spasms, cramps, achiness and just found out that my iron levels are low. Never

was an issue when younger even with heavy periods. Now I have to poop on a special paper

to show that I am not bleeding in my nether regions, yes, i've done this test before and it

was negative. Just wondering if lyme can suck iron out of your body, too. Magnesium levels

along with potassium and calcium are fine. Just another thing to "love" about lyme....

My babs tests were negative, but my symptoms and response to treatment indicated I did have babs.

My heavy periods cause anemia and have since I was a teenager. I've supplemented iron since then. It took me a long time after Lyme to get my ferritin levels up.

As iron makes bacteria more virulent, you do not want to supplement iron unless your LLMD (not just any doctor) tells you to.
Your body will store iron as ferritin to hide it from the pathogens. Have you had your ferritin levels checked?

Have not had ferratin levels checked. This is on a list of to do things. Also have had periodic low protien levels as well despite eating enough chicken and fish. This might have something to do with my thyroid, I do take synthroid. I will check in with my LLND.Thanks.

think about bart. Bart affects the red blood cells because it loves ion. I wouldnt feed bart with ion. We all have low ion, and hm related parameters in the family and we all have bart. For organisms that consume ion I would take artemisinin.

I tried Coartem, no effect and also A-BABS with no effect. Wondering if this is "re blockade."
