Hi everyone! Today I had a headache all day and lots of head pressure. Also the left side of my face got swollen. It is important to note that I have also had pain behind my left eye and the left side of my face is the side that was swollen. Anyone have any ideas? Waiting for my first lld doc app at the end of September after i fired my pcp and all other specialists!!!

It sounds like an allergic reaction. I've had similar things happen occurring from stuff like inhaling car fumes/cleaning products to an allergic reaction to antibiotics. I've also had it happened from tooth root pain.

Good luck and I hope you get to the source of it.

I have the exact same problem. I am interested to hear what other say. Just one side of my face will blow up! It is like the middle of my cheek, but not that close to my nose.

When I mentioned this along with several other symptoms to Dr. H, he said it was a non-specific symptom...

Really sounds like a sinus infection. Is there any shadowing under or above your eye? Do you feel intense pressure on your eye when you lean forward?
Does your sinus feel blocked but nothing comes out when you blow? Or alternatively, you seen green mucous when you blow?

I've had similar experience and it only got worse, to the point where my forehead also started to swell.

If it were me, I'd be trying to get a sinus culture and CAT scan. Can you get in to see an ENT any sooner than the LLMD?

I have this as well. It seems to follow a distinct pattern with me. It usually begins in the afternoon of day 1, the whole day of day two, and until about 3 p.m. of day three.

I get horrific pain in all of my face bones on the left side of my face/jaw/ear/eye orbit. When I look down, all I can see is my cheek swollen up. My eye also swells to a slit and drains. My teeth hurt.

I don't *think* it is an allergic reaction given the predictability of duration, etc.. It seems that something is living in the sinuses or some type (trigeminal) nerve inflammation??

Do you have pain with your swelling? Is it behind your left eye as well?

yes pain behind the left eye and swelling on the left side, mostly the cheekbone and eye area. No I do not have sinus infection or allergies. it left the next day and vanished as quickly as it had arrived. Another random moment for me. In the past i have also had a swollen tongue, and swollen left ear. My life is just full of inflammation. Meanwhile I took myself off of prednisone, during the last week. (weaned myself from 5mg to 2.5 my and then none) Fingers and toes hurt but my overall moon face is gone. I feel better and worse all at the same time. Yikes!

EMF and toxic metals. It can involve any body part alone or together. I had all of it until I finally went on a serious metal detox. I thought I was sensitive to EMF to the point where I blamed the swollen face and everything else on the EMF that is all around us.

It was and is nothing but toxic metals that is also keeping some fungi, etc. from leaving. The body creates fungi in order to protect itself. The metals would otherwise destroy us.

Find out and rule out heavy metal toxicity.

I have posted the list of symptoms caused by heavy metals many times. People ignore it and keep blaming Lyme. The symptoms from either are identical.

Do a hair test or find a doctor who can test you.
Sensitivity to EMF is part of heavy metal toxicity. We start resonating with the radiation
and it is very unpleasant.

Take care.
