I saw it last year on youtube, a video that a young man took of his very very sick young wife who had lyme&co. Her name was Christa and she was so ill, vomiting, screaming with pain...ring a bell? I had a thought to help a friend and looked up the video on youtube but it says "removed by poster." What I really want to find out is what Christa was given by her LLMD that helped her heal. It was right at the end of the video...can anyone help me? Do you remember what it was?
Thanks so much, lymenet friends! And if you think of it, can you please pray for Josie? She needs all of our prayers. Journey4Josie
Oh, and if you know if the video is somewhere else, somewhere where I could watch it OR if you know what Christa was given that helped her get better, please PM the info to me. I'm not on here much anymore, but the PMs come to my old email so I will see them there.
Thank you!! God bless you all!!

Here is a link to the video again. She posted it on her facebook page about a month ago. I think they had to revise it a bit.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=So2K68r8pOY&feature=channel&list=UL

I watched that video - They were Canadian newlyweds right?
I believe her problem turned out to be FL1953 - I know it's not called that anymore, but this is why the standard Lyme treatments weren't working for her.
Good luck!

Wasn't it Ivermectin that was the turning point?

Lax mom, why did Cholestramine almost kill?
I don't know why I'm nervous about taking it.
I've taken far more toxic meds.

Was the antimalarial mepron? I find this all so confusing. As I looked over the symtoms of illness from mold mine match that just as they did for lyme...

Haley: I don't think I was actually going to die, it just felt like it. I couldn't tolerate it after 5 days because it caused a cytokine storm in me. I'm sensitive to EVERYTHING and can't detox.
I started feeling bad around day 3 and kept pushing through...just listen to your body and stop if your body tells you to stop.
Even after that experience, at times, I wonder if I could tolerate it now.

It was Cholestyramine that she took to help her in the end.

Where in the film did they say anything about cholestyramine? I just watched it again last night!
The LLMD she saw in the States recommended (they said), a "powder" to help her DETOX. He must have felt that she was herxing so badly (constant nausea and vomiting) that she wasn't getting rid of the products of die-off.
When they added this "powder drink" to her abx and "fat free" diet for the FL1953, the video says she got "50% better in six weeks."
Here is a good article on cholestyramine - which is used mainly to lower cholesterol.
Is it possible that the LLMD thought that by blocking the resorption of bile, he was "detoxing" the bacterial load? Maybe.
I note that this powder - of course - contains sugar and artificial colors. And the "light" version contains Aspartame! YUCH!
I wish these pharmas would stop using all this unecessary crap in their preparations! Just try to find a commercial fiber product that is free of this junk ... You have to go to a health food store!

Ellen 101 -
Apparently Christa WAS taking Mepron - a camera shot of her meds showed a teaspoon with a bright yellow liquid. But they said she was taking "anti-malarialS" ... which I suspect means there were other meds (or herbs)too.
Larae -
Didn't hear a word about Invermectin in the video - nor anything about her treating for "parasites."

cholestyramine removes toxins, but if you have a lot, it can be too much in the beginning. You can either take a much smaller dose, or start with charcoal and apple pectin.

Under the heading of "FAQ", they answer the question, "What is the toxic binding powder in the movie?", and the answer is cholestyramine.

Do CholestPure and Cholestyramine work the same way...
Cholestyramine is a bile acid sequestrant, which binds bile in the gastrointestinal tract to prevent its reabsorption. Which helps remove toxins. (but also does lower cholesterol.)
In reading, CholestPure balances your cholesterol levels...at least that's my understanding... did you doctor say it will help remove toxins?
Definitely could be more tolerable.. as drinking cholestyramine is kinda "gaggy".

What's the product similar to Cholestyramine that possibly starts with an M that's a milder form of Cholestyramine?
(My brain fog is horrible, I can only remember the first letters of things tonight.)
Found it...it started with W, not M. It was Welchol.

Just wondering, if you have issues taking cholestyramine would you get the same negative effects form taking cholestepure?
I took csm for only two days and started feeling really bad. I have been interested in trying cholestepure though.
