Yes, I took it. It helped a LOT. You are not supposed to stay on it forever though. I took it along with Adrenal Complex, and then later added in Drenamin.

is that the same as adrenal glandulars?

Maybe include the name of the product, you might get more feed back.

I took glandulars and they didn't do anything

I do believe adrenal glandulars and dessicated adrenal is the same thing. Basically, parts of adrenal glands from animals. These glands would have adrenal hormones in them, and so it would work by supplying the actual hormone that your body could use.

I think some believe, in general, the approach of glandulars also "works" by providing nutrition that can help you grow a healthy gland. The theory being, much or all of what your gland needs is in an actual gland from some other animal.

It's the same idea as cortef (hydrocortisone), I'm guessing not as strong, but I don't know that. I know my doc uses hydrocortisone (man-made, not the animal extract), even though when he's prescribing thyroid hormones, he prefers to use the Rx that comes from animals.

It should stabilize your temperature (from day to day, still with variations throughout the day) and get you more energy. You should notice in a day or two. I am still getting going with adrenal and thyroid, and, in the beginning, I got more energy and it stabilized my temperatures, but then it got more erratic after more days, signaling thyroid support was also needed. This prompted the need for more adrenal support, and the cycle continues looking for stability. There is much interplay between adrenal and thyroid.
