Hi everyone,

I have been searching Dr. Phil archive of shows searching for the name of the LLMD who was featured on the show (I didn't get to see the program but my mother said the patient on the show who was in remission had 2 years of uninterrupted IV antibiotics). I have been on IV meds for about 1 and 1/2 and fear my own LLMD is fearful about letting my keep my PICC line that long. If anyone knows the name of her LLMD, pleaase PM me. Is there any way to watch that episode on his website? Thanks again, don't know what I would do without all my friends on this lifeline.......

PICC lines are not intended to be long term and you have already had yours close to the max (if you meant one and a half years.) Some people have had multiple PICCs or a different type of line meant to last longer.
