So I have been battling Lyme symptoms for years but was only diagnosed this year. I know some of you have been following, but I haven't been on in a while...

So I am treating naturally with homeopathics and supplements and have been for six months. My Cd57 started at 60. It has continually gone up to 75 and then 115. In the mean time my viral load decreased on small scales, but still were highly positive. I started rifing about 2 months ago, and had my labs redrawn. My CD57 jumped up to 360!! My Dr. couldn't even believe it, let alone me! So this is a good sign that my immune system is responding, so she says. My viral load decreased a little again, but not significantly. I had two weeks were I felt fantastic! I was hiking, not tired and just living life as a normal person.

What does everyone think of this? I want to be sooo positive that I am getting better, but then this week I felt a little fatigued.....I don't want to jinx myself, but I just want to BE better! I really want to apply to either a PA program or ND program, and I can't do that being sick! UGH! I swear this lyme has a purpose for me .....

So happy to hear you are getting better. I would continue to do what you are doing.

It must be working. I wish I could say the same for me.

Please post what you have been as for as homeopathy and supplements.

Maybe it can help some of the rest of us who struggle.

This is such good news!!! I second cozynana. Keep doing what you are doing. It is working for you! This makes me want to pursue Rife treatment in 2013.

It would be wonderful if you could eventually use your knowledge and experience to help people get well. Keep at it!

I would go more by symptoms than test numbers. Did you look at the presentation on this during the ILADS conference streaming?

Some people on this board have not found strict correlation between disease status and test numbers.

It sounds like you're on the right path! This just goes to show that abx aren't the only answer.

That is fantastic. It is especially reassuring this time of year because it is so easy to go backwards in the winter. I hope you feel better and better.

Thanks everyone for such great responses and support.
I will list what I have been on, but please remember I am no expert.

I have been taking various homeopathics, such as casticum, calc carb (one at a time, once they burn out I switch).
I also take high dose vit C, vit D, fish oil, live probiotics, NT factor, Adrenal-ALL, and organic multivitamins with high reactivity.
I have been on and off of charcoal for detox in addition to hot epson salt baths. I pulse cat's claw, larrea plus, lysine, and natural anti-fungals.
In addition I started rifing a few months back, and this has made me feel on cloud 9. I have been working out, hiking and doing things I haven't done in YEARS! I will beat this, and you can too!! Get a good Dr. who believes in you and knows how to heal the body in addition to fighting Lyme.

Best wishes to the new year!

Razzle,
I have done a lot of research on multivitamins and how they break down in the body. I read an excellent book that helped determine what to use, called Never Be Sick Again by Raymond Francis.

High reactivity = best compounded formula for maximum absorption.

We often use vitamins that either don't dissolve in a decent amount of time, which doesn't allow our bodies to absorb the nutrients, or they are in the poorest bioactivity form also leading to poor absorbtion. It is so important to know the chemical composition and the bioactivity to buy an effective vitamin.

Hope this helps!
