Is anyone else taking Artemisinin 3 days a month?

My husband's doctor wants him to try 7 capsules once a day for 3 days per month.

When do you think would be the best time of day to take it? At meal time, between meals, bedtime???

I'm going to be starting it 3 days every 2 weeks. The protocol I'm trying suggests 300mg 3x per day for the first 3-day pulse. Then eventually working up to 500mg 3x per day. I plan to take it morning, noon and evening.

The speculation behind the pulsing is that the intestines develop an enzyme that makes artemisinin ineffective by about the 4th or 5th day. So doing 3-day pulses eliminates that possibility.

I take the Dr Zhang's Artemesia2 3 days on -2 weeks off. It's potent stuff!

My well known lyme doctor had me take it on an empty stomach.

That really worked for me! Wow, did it!

That is a lot higher dose than I was told to take. My husband and I were told to work up to 500 mg twice a day for 4 days on and 3 days off.

I think pulsing for 3 days is a great idea (with whatever dosage you can handle). I took it for 3 weeks straight and became immune to it.
