Sometimes it does itch. I wasn't really thinking about yeast. I don't have the white tongue but that probably doesn't matter.
maybe I should get on some diflucan?

Ok I do have some lotrimin on hand. And you know what last month I broke out with athlete's foot btw last two toes which itched like heck.
So bought the Lotrimin and cured it in a week or so. The first time I have ever had athlete foot and I'm 42.
Maybe I have a systemic yeast infection? Symptoms of a systemic yeast can be just like LD and friends correct?

Wow I got a lot of reading to do. Quit possible its yeast after treating so long. If it is I have to really change my diet as almost everything has sugar or carbs.
Thank you for the help.

Allergic reaction to medication or something else, hives? Does benadryl help it? If so, it could be an allergy.

Have you ever had bloodwork done during or close to the time of appearance of the rash? Might want to make sure it is not due to thrombocytopenia -- low platelet count -- which would be due to something attacking the red blood cells.
In my opinion a candida rash would be more likely to appear under the armpits or in other areas of the body where moisture is trapped. Think it would be very unusual on the forearms.
A stomach rash always makes me question whether it could be shingles?

No I have had plenty of bloodwork but not within the duration of time rash appears.
I've been taking pictures of this rash going back to the year I got sick in 06.
And I'm still really sick so I figure if I or my doc can identify this rash and what could be causing it, I might be able to get some treatment and get better.
I also get a red rash that covers face and upper chest that is bright red. It blanches and fades away.
Its not like a butterfly Lupus rash but my face gets a blotchy red in various areas.
No there aren't any sores just a weird pin prick rash on stomach and forearms, and the blotchy spots on face.
Shingles is caused by the chicken pox virus. When I was a kid I had a bad case of chicken pox as I bit for some unknown reason little kids do, my sister during the time she had a chickenpox outbreak.
This happened when I was 4 and the chicken pox was down my throat and was a bad case.
I also was hospitalized for 20 days when I was 17 after losing a lot of weight. At first they couldn't figure out what I had but a second test for Mono proved positive.
I don't get it.

Yes back in 08 Lupus test negative. I had a almost positive LD western blot in 07. So been concentrating on the LD.

I have a smaller version of that rash on my hand. It popped up when taking anti-parasitics.

I appreciate the responses, does anyone know if there is a candida blood test. If so how accurate is it?

bigstan is that a leg you have in the 4th pic? Do you have this rash all over your body?
It does not look like what my Bartonella looks like. My spots are on my face/neck and farther apart.
But your rash looks identical to a "mystery" rash my husband gets when he gets a cold or some illness. The heat from shower or electric blanket makes is much worse too. btw, my husband does not have lyme.
I will research Bea's suggestion but will watch this post to see what you come up with as the cause. Good luck.

Have you been tested for rocky mountain spotted fever? It reminds me of a mild version of that.

Lots of posts about rashes that are hard to identify. Could be the lyme & co's, yeast, viral, reaction to meds, supplements, interactions of diet and meds. Evaluate each thing with your situation and it may eliminate a lot of those options.
I get one that comes and goes, is worse after a shower, starts as small pink dots but swells into large blotchy areas then fades completely. Was my first symptom 13 yrs ago and again last year when I got sick again. It's a symptom of my lyme & co's based on the history and timing of it.
My LLMD believes it's an inflammation reaction related to my babesia. I know (based on history) when my rash begins to go away the rest of my symptoms will follow.
