I am doing Dr K parasite protocol. I think I read the dosage wrong. I read it as four 3 mg pills 4 x's per day for a total daily dose of 12 mg. is that correct? I weigh 98 lbs.

Thank you!

It's actually 12mg 4 times per day (total of 48mg daily). I'm also very small, the second and third time I repeated it, we only did 9mg 4 times per day (36mg daily). The first time I did the 12mg 4 times per day, I handled it fine, except I got a little light sensitivity. That's why they decided to go a little lower the second and third time around.

BTW - this is my favorite med. I feel great when on it.

Also, to help stay ahead of the toxics, I found daily coffee enemas to be an enormous help. I had problem handling all of the meds on the procotol because of the coffee enemas.

Best to you.

My dosage is 4 pills (3mg in a pill) per day. So a total of 12 mg per day.

My daughter takes four pills per day (3mg each). It took her a year to work up to that amount, increasing in 1/4 pill increments.

If you are really sick, herxing can be debilitating. Don't be afraid to take it slow.

Ok, thank you all. I am only able to handle two 3mg pills per day right now. Some things are SO much better (my terrible stiff neck, I can turn again) and blurry vision better. but, I have a feeling that something is definitely off still - weak leg, weak arm, head feels funny, etc.

Kelmo, what else is your daughter taking in addition to ivermectin? Does she pulse it? What supportive supplements does she take? Yes, I have been very sick. going on 3 years of treatment and thought I needed a change from antibiotics.

I am going to start coffee enemas soon...as soon as I can figure it all out.

I am also NOT seeing any evidence of parasites in the toilet.

My daughter could ONLY tolerate working up on the Ivermectin. She added Pyrantel Pamoate for a couple of months. We wrapped her bed, expecting critters. Nothing has show up.

When you think about it, people NEVER see the parasites that are in their blood unless a special microscope is used. So, how could we see them in the stools?

She has since added 10mg of doxy and bactrim. She got sick recently and had to have a bag of saline. The affect of all that saline in her system knocked her for a loop. That was an indicator that changing the environment affects the organisms.

So, she has added salt/c protocol. She started with 1/4 tsp of each. It made her feel pretty sick so she backed off.

The other day, she started back up, taking 1tsp of each. She said, it hit her stomach hard, then IMMEDIATELY made her muscles scream in pain.

I find that fascinating.

I can't imagine taking 48 mg a day. How often are you supposed to take it?

I took 12 mg once a day for about two months. I began to experience side effects at that time. It made my eyes very blood shot. I read it can cause a hemorrhage of the cornea in rare cases.

So I quit using it except when symptoms begin to return. It is an incredible drug - got me into remission - at least as close as I can get to that. I still have to take it now and then to stay ok.

Nefferdun, did you herx from it in the beginning? I am feeling SO much better, but I took a break yesterday and today. Chills are back tonight. I'm going to take it again tomorrow and try to get to 12 mg and stick with it.

I also started biopure garlic, so that could be helping too!

I keep thinking my magic combination might be doxy and ivermectin. So these two drugs are ok to take together?

I have an appt. next week and hope to get parasite meds. Ivermectin etc.

Dumb question - in general - what parasites/worms come from a tick bite and what ones from other causes?

Strongyles? Are folks on Iver passing Strongyles? IIRC there are different kinds of S's. Those that horses get and those that humans get. I think I have read where humans cannot contract S's from horses. I would not think so directly, but those of us with horses have handled enough manure and have been bitten by flies that have just left manure piles.
Thoughts?

FWIW I have high Eosinophil and high IGE counts.

Ivermectin also hits protomyxzoa. I never had any evidence of worms but in two months I was like a new person. I don't think you need to take such a huge dose for it to be effective.

The ones that come from a tick bite are bacterial coinfections. The are parasitic in the way that they affect the body. I've heard of bartonella and babesia referred to as parasites.

As far as the big parasites are concerned, the worms and such:

Everyone takes these in on a daily basis. They are in the food that we eat (especially restaurant food). If not already in worm form, larva form.

Normally, enough hydrochloric acid and pepsin are secreted in the stomach to digest and kill these parasites.

These secretions are significantly diminished in Lyme sufferers, so the parasites have a chance to thrive.

If the person has had heavy metal exposure, this further compromises the biological terrain of the gut, making the conditions more favorable for parasitic and fungal overgrowth.

That's why in order to beat Lyme, I think it's necessary to use the three-pronged attack, get rid of the metals, get rid of the parasites, and get rid of the fungal overgrowth. This will fix the leaky gut and get the immune system back in order. From there, you're virtually home free.

I agree about the leaky gut. I feel like mine has been so damaged, so now when I eat, my immune response to food makes me feel really ill.

I have all the symptoms of die off for river blindness parasite oddly enough. I have been having terrible eye pain so I looked up med side effects for ivermectin which included diarrhea, vomiting and nausea - none of which I have. However, it then stated that people treating for the river blindness parasite will experience symptoms of die off including eye pain, headaches, eyelid itching, itching, muscle and joint pain, fatigue, sleepiness...ALL of which I am experiencing.

So strange! Surely I don't have the river blindness parasite, but I am def killing off something.
