The type of magnesium you are taking matters too. You need one that absorbs well. I take magnesium malate but some like to use calm which is a powder that goes into water.
I can't tolerate the calm as it upsets my stomach.
Babs causes that deep muscle pain. You might try MSM in high doses as it is safe and also tumeric which helps.
Good idea to tell your LLMD about this.
