I think they work. I took them for the years I was on abx and never had a yeast problem, even when I was on the mega doses of abx.

I use them currently. I've never had any defined fungal/yeast problems. The fact they are a variety of SBO (soil-based organisms) in a humectic base is useful and different. Most probiotics are either based on lactic acid bacteria (Theralac, real yogurt/kefir, VSL #3 DS) or the "good yeast" S. boulardii. I have VSL #3 DS that I don't use every day (which I consider to be the best of the lactic acid bacteria probiotics in both amount and variety of organisms. If your insurance co-pay for brand name drugs w/o generic equivalent is less than $80 or so, I suggest getting your practitioner to prescribe VSL #3 DS that comes in boxes of 20. Twice the strength of regular VSL3, and you may end up paying less!), and Prescrip-Assist Pro which I do take daily, and only keep S. Boulardii around for emergencies since it is constipating.
Researched Nutritionals is one of the more respectable supplement companies and actually has a handful of Lyme and tick-borne infection specific products (along with testing/catering their other products for Lyme patients) and can be available at reasonable prices. They don't post prices because they only sell to vetted practitioners who then resell directly to their patients at varying prices of their choosing. Talk to your LLMD or call GreenAndHealthy.com (who is one of the few internet sites that has contracts with practitioner brands but doesn't overcharge. However, they can't list that they are a reseller on their site or the prices they sell at as part of the condition with the supplement company, so you'll need to call them and ask; they'll let you know)
