I have just a handful of symptoms, after 5 years of heavy treatment. If I go too long off ivermectin(1 month or more) they are debilitating.

Anyone done ivermectin long term, been able to stop and stay well? This is all I have left to treat. It's maddening. And, I was just cut off LTD so I need to get well so I can work.

symptoms are
heart issues
shortness of breath
low stamina
floaters
no sweating
clotting
persistent sore throats
brain fog
memory issues

Have you considered doing antiparasitic herbs such as Parastroy and salt/c? Have read on the PARASITE WARRIORS THREAD that some people alternate pharma drugs such as Iver with the herbs and salt/c.

It sounds like you need more than iver. Have you tried parasite herbs yet? They are strong. Gael is so right, if you mix them with salt/c they are even stronger. Parasite meds got rid of my floaters, but I take herbs to keep them away as well. You have to rotate stuff to knock them back.

Your symptoms remind me of mine except I have mild sweats. I like to rotate between meds and herbs. Each time I do I feel better. Are you also treating babs (another parasite)? Hitting babs knocks them down too. It got rid of my brain fog. It also helps with memory issues, and shortness of breath.

Also, proteolytic enzymes are great for clotting.

I'm confident I don't have babs. and I have rotated herbs. Some of the best from my LLMD and crypotolepsis. I've been on this road for two years. Also, did the dr K rotation twice.

I should clarify the sweating. off Ivermectin, I don't sweat like a normal person during excercise. I do have mild night sweats.

Also, I have low hemoglobin, hemocrit, RBC's and these go back to normal on ivermectin.

I have mild night sweats, low stamina, mild air hunger, chills when it's cold or if I go into a store that has the a/c up. I used to have brain fog, and memory issues but babs treatment cleared it up (I also had way more babs symptoms than this).

I'm not sure if my remaining symptoms are from babs or protomyxzoa. Not a lot is known about protomyxzoa. That said, ivermectin helps knock whichever it is, babs and/or protomyxzoa back. I know that Dr. F uses iver for protomyxzoa.

I also used to have a persistent sore throat, but something cleared it up. I also have heart issues but they go away with parasite treatment.

Interestingly, I recently attended Stephen Buhner's last seminar and he said that babs is endemic in northern CA and the northeast. I'm from CA and I've always gotten chills from a/c, and I've always had memory issues (much better now though after all my treatment). I never really thought much of it. Maybe I acquired a different type of babs from CA. Once I got bit here in the northeast though, my babs was wicked, overnight.

Wow, really? He said babs is endemic in N. CA? we don't hear much about it here, it seems to be mostly NE.

Blinkie, are you sure you don't have a milder subclinical form of babs?

I have same issue.. If I stay off it I get "asthma" symptoms also. Have you read about DR Lawrence Klapow's study with lungworm? My theory is that we do have a parasite and unfortunately they can not be fully eradicated .

I take ivermectin every other day . I also take albenzadole sub off and on. I do think you can safely take iver a long time, as it has been done in other countries for long periods for filarial. If you take it every other day you are less likely to have problems.

There is another parasite med I have read about called diethylcarbamazine that may be even stronger. I do not know much about it , but it might be worth a try or worth asking about.

CD57, I was really surprised by this too. It's a milder form, IMO. He found 110 species of babs (10 infect people). Whoops, I left out Wisconsin (endemic area as well), also VA. He said that 10% of the US is infected, most are asymptomatic. I took tons of notes at this seminar. http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/124535

Ms dixie, do you like one med over the other? It felt like albenza seemed to hit it the best for me (lungs), but it could have been that I took that one after iver (Dr. K protocol), and it was the combination of everything prior.

oh yes, asthma symptoms too. I'm leaning towards a filarial worm infection, protomyxzoa of some other unknown bloodborne parasite.

Have you had other anti-parasitic meds like alinia, biltricide, mebendazole, albendazole? Maybe you need to cycle some prescription anti-parasite medications.
