Looking for an inexpensive weights set that would be good for Lyme physical therapy.

Target has some small weights, foam mats and exercise resistance bands. I like to arch, gently, my back over the exercise ball. The smaller the ball, the greater the arch. The small weights are not the kind that you slip on and off, but are all in one. I have a set of the 5 pounders.

Dicks sporting goods has a pretty good selection of small weights that you can pick from. I think we picked up some of these a while ago to use while walking: http://tinyurl.com/phry8frPosts: 118 | From New England | Registered: Apr 2013

if you join amazon prime you can get a set of adjustable dumbells - that go from 5-55lbs - shipped to your house for free. it'll cost more than picking up a couple pairs of dumbells but you won't have to pick up heavier ones when you grow stronger.

5 lbs isn't too much, but what happens when you first start to work out is that you will get pain in your muscles from use. It might be better to get the 2.5 pound weights and focus on increasing circulation in your muscles versus building muscle. You could sit on the couch while watching tv and do curls. Once you get through that initial 'burn' when your muscles ache from exercise, you will be fine.
