What has your experience been with this supplement? Did you experience herxing? Where do you order it from?

I've been taking it for a couple months with little to report. I dunno. It's just another supplement I heard I'm supposed to take.

Same with me. I often forget now as I didn't notice much difference. The reason you take it > " Molybdenum to help SUOX break down sulfite into less toxic sulfate". My SOUX is normal so i guess that is why I didn't notice that much difference.

Where do you usually order it from? It seems like there are a few different kinds.

The other reason to take Molybdenum is to help your body process aldehydes (alcohols and many other chemicals) - including the toxins produced by Candida.

For myself, I find molybdenum supplements enormously helpful for reducing sensitivity to many chemicals, sulfites, etc.

If you have chemical sensitivities and do not notice a difference from taking Molybdenum, it is possible you aren't taking enough.

I had to start with a large daily dose for a few months, and then I could finally drop my dose down, but still find I need more than the usual RDA amount.

I use Thorne Research Molybdenum Picolinate.

I have been trying to search for it, but there was a great blog written by someone who had incredible success after trying molybdenum. The problem was that she herxed terribly for a few days right after taking, but then felt really good after that.

She continued using molybdenum, but had to adjust the dosage so that her herxing was manageable. I will keep searching for it and share if I can find it.

I think it depends on your own deficiencies as to whether it will help you?

Thanks Razzle! I wondered why I feel better on it. My chemical sensitivity has dropped some (didn't know what was doing it).

Wow, Dbpei, I didn't know it could make you herx! I will watch out for that.

I certainly feel better on it when I am killing alot of yeast - as others have said, it helps the body process the candidas die off neurotoxins.

I always take it with my Diflucan and Nystatin.

I have to be honest, I am getting tired of hearing about herxes from supplements that have nothing to do with killing bugs.

"My chemical sensitivity has dropped some (didn't know what was doing it)."

Molybdemum is one of the ingredients in Chem-defense (a supplement that's suppose to help people with MCS, but did nothing for me).

VV - my point was not that molybdenum is sure to make you herx. It was to point out that for some people, it may be the missing link to getting them well. I mentioned the herxing because I remember being surprised that it caused such a reaction in this woman who wrote about her experience with it.

Some may herx from taking it and many will probably not. Anything that helps your body to release toxins is capable of causing a herx reaction. This happened to me with cranio-sacral therapy. It is supposed to be really good for you and makes most people feel better.

Instead, it caused a cytokine storm and I felt very ill because the therapy opened up several pathways to move the toxins out of my body, but I could not release them fast enough. This may happen with molybdenum for some as well.

Molybendum also helps clear out the neurotoxins (one of which is ammonia) caused by Lyme dieoff...supposedly helps with brain inflammation as well. Dr. J of the Hansa Center has a section on it in his book...

Yes, Ellen. This is the article!! You are good! Molybdenum really helped this woman after she learned that she was deficient in it through uric acid levels. But she herxed terribly when starting it.

I hope the article will help some here.
