Okay, I have been living w/ some symptoms after years of treatment. In those years I've been off all meds and supplements. BUT, a few days ago I thought I was going to die. First I thought it was a stomach virus, but the symPtoms just progressed as Lyme (and other TBI).
I'm a thirty-something female and noticed all the severe symptoms suddenly came the day my menses started. Why? And what the heck is going on? I hope I won't need to resume treatment. Now that it's been a few days the symptoms are somewhat lessening. Please help in any way! Thanks...

My doc explained this to me...wish I wrote it down.
Something to do with our hormones fluctuating causes a lyme flare.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it appears you still have lyme.

Yeh, I assume I will always have Lyme and experience some residual symptoms, BUT I hope I don't have to go back on meds just because of my monthly hormones causing me to get sick.?

My LLMD thinks that Lyme can never be cured, only controlled. I notice that my flares are monthly, during the full moon the same way my menses used to be.
