I can't search....so

I have a bottle of Nystatin 100000 U and the label says

4tsp every four hours. It is pretty bad, is this

the correct dose?

I am only on Plaquenil but I ate way to much sugar

this weekend......ouch!

Hum....when I did the liquid (same strenght as you) I started out at 1/4 tsp. twice a day. Was suppose to get up to 1 tsp. twice a day. Your dose sounds quite high for the liquid....I could not tolerate it - made me too sick so I went back on the pills and Diflucan.

Better get some Diflucan ASAP. I've never used the liquid Nystatin.

Ask Dr for Mycelex lozenges and Diflucan. A new product called Oravig worked for me in one day. It's rather yucky, but worth it.

how about Nystatin one tsp every four hours...geez, I am a spaz.

Lymetoo - I have the Mycelex. It says it can

cause nausea as the first side effect. Have you or

anyone experience any side effects? The Mycelex

is dissolving a pill in your mouth five times a day.

I took a Diflucan today.

Any thoughts between staying on the Nystatin vs

switching to the Myclelex?

I wonder if Mycelex has less sugar? It didn't seem to make things worse for me when I tried it.

No side effects on the Mycelex except for mouth irritation. My mouth is sensitive due to the Sjogren's.

Nystatin did absolutely nothing for me. Oil pulling with coconut oil or use grapefruit seed extract as a mouthwash did better.

But diflucan works the best

Thanks !! It is not fun. Plus the IC flare....

It is cooler in Cali - down in the 80's....that

helps me as I don't tolerate heat...

I finally got desperate and used a couple of drops of tea tree oil in a small glass of water to rinse my mouth out. Absolutely do NOT swallow. i had tried all the usual routes to kill the candida off in my mouth to no avail and this seemed to do the trick for me.

Thanks to all. It is about 25% better today - which is GREAT.

I will keep hammering away....

Vfend is best, diflucan second nystatin just ok
One teaspoon every four hours. Leave and swish in mouth for
2-4 minutes to coat every surface.
Brush tongue with tongue cleaner
Brush all surfaces of teeth and gums , boil toothbrush after each brushing or buy new ones every time. Boil 5 minutes.
Cross contamination is great problem
Heavy dose probiotics
Discontinue abc
Yeast free, celiac diet, no sugar period.
Can look up a search for my cocktail for treating Lyme induced yeast infection. If it is in your mouth it is most likely systemic and you will never get better until the systemic yeast is removed from body.
I will do a search on my protocol several years ago.
Maybe tutu still has it.
Docdave, and yes I am a real doctor
