For those who have done Biciliin injections Iam just wondering if you noticed a big improvement?

If so, what symptoms were helped? How many shots a week did you do and for how long?

Thanks!

Hey jackie- you will probably get more feedback about Bicillin with the search feature, but,

I did the shots for 6 months, top dose, 2x a week, my husband administered them at home- I never had an issue (ice packs after). I am a small person, 2x a week enough.

But the big piece with it was I took Tindamax 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off throughout the shots.

That combo helped neuro issues for me at the time.

not much for me on 6 months, 3x week. i did damage my piriformis muscle though because i was self administrating. make sure you get trained right. i think surprise is right, use a cyst buster with it.

it's a clean antibiotic and i've seen people have success with it.

My husband developed a strong Parkinson's-type shake the day after I gave him his 1st Bicillin shot. Apparently uncontrolled body movements are among the side effects. I just read that the stuff takes weeks to absorb, so it sounds as if this will go on a while Sigh.

For me....it was possibly my turn around drug. And that was even after 16 months with a port and daily IV's up to 9 hours a day. The Bicillin shots knocked my butt, but it wiped up so many of the left over symptoms I had.

I did it for 3 times a week for about 6 months. In the beginning, I just noticed I got much sicker but what an improvement.

With that said, there are so many different strains of Lyme and various co infections, that there isn't one set drug that works for all of us. But for me, this was AMAZING.

I did it for several months twice a week. I did not see much difference in my symptoms. If anything it aggravated the nerve pain I was having in the area of the injections,

I've just started taking them. Only on my 4th shot, so too early to tell. I'm taking them twice a week. I can definitely feel a rise in symptoms already. I hope they are killing something.

Yes, Bicillin-LA is excellent: At a minimum, 3 shots a week (1.2 million unit shots) or 2 shots a week (2.4 million unit shots, but these are huge shots).

Bicillin-LA and a couple other antibiotics did then stop their effectiveness for me, and even made me feel worse, but I think a different problem was involved.
