Hi all - it's been ages since I've signed in. I have been doing better but not well enough to say I'm ALL BETTER with a happy jump in the air.

Anyway, yesterday I was taking off my shirt and I noticed these strange blue/gray squiggles on the upper left side of my back. They are under the skin, don't move, and actually resemble numbers. My son said it looked like someone had written numbers on my back, like "58" and "16".

This is really weird and I wondered if anyone else had such a thing happen to them.

I hope you are all doing great - probably many of you have no idea who I am. I really haven't been on in about two years. Guess I'm just lazy.

Thanks if you have any ideas!

Lymelady

Sounds like Bartonella rash to me too. I'm sure others, who know more, will be along soon.

Play those numbers! Bart and even Lyme have strange rashes...

It would be an odd place for it, but could it be varicose veins? Spider veins? Does the area hurt at all?

No, it doesn't hurt, and now the rash is fading. I've been affected by bartonella for 10 years but have never had a rash. Perhaps this is the first time because I've become extremely allergic to Bactrim and haven't treated bart in months. I was hoping it was gone because I had no symptoms, but now this may be a new one. It was creepy how the rash looked like numbers. Thank you for your input!!
