Currently treating lyme/erlichia/babesia/bartonella. My LLMD is very new to the game and is willing to listen to my suggestions (she is very affordable, local, and willing to write the scripts, can't ask for more).
Looking for testimonials here. I'm taking rifampin for bart/erlich and doxy for borrelia/erlich. Has anyone taken that combo with a babesia abx and had success? If so, what is that antibiotic? I'm open to non alcohol based herbs as well (no alcohol with rifampin).
Sorry if this is a little confusing, and thanks for reading/your time.

Since I didn't have bart, I hesitate to offer any "advice" here on that. I don't think it would be considered good advice!
But I did want to make sure you are taking high quality probiotics two hours away from your antibiotics. Sounds like you will be treating for awhile and I wouldn't want you to end up with another problem!

Yes lymetoo, I take two different brands of Probiotic, totaling probably about 150 billion or whatever the standard unit is a day. I appreciate your concern :-). I have been on doxy for about 6 months, amox for 1 month, rifampin for 1 week. The only reason I'm still on the doxy is to get rid of erlichia..will be moving off it permanently soon.
Plan on being on antibiotics for about 4-8 months for babs/bart before cutting the cord and sticking to herbs/holistics. I really don't feel comfortable being on abx for more than a year or a year and a half total, with all due to respect for those who've been on them for much longer. Just going with my gut.

Coartem in 7 day pulses with the doxy and rifampin. The second pulse hit the hardest but seem to get rid of babs symptoms.

Doxy also is a good combo with Rif, so I wouldn't consider dropping it too soon.
My first bart combo while still treating lyme a few years back was Zith, Rif and Doxy.
Currently I'm taking Doxy, Rif and Plaquenil. Its quite a potent combo.
Would need to add in either TindaMax or Flagyl to bust up lyme cysts.
After 4 or 5 months treating bart and adding a cyst buster then switch over to a more babs/Lyme protocoal with Mepron or Malarone, Bactrim DS, etc. for a good 6 to 8 months. Many of us here have treated stubborn Babs/Proto infections or several years.

My husband has been fighting babesia for many years and has gone through pretty much every treatment there is or has been. He's currently using Riamet (3 days every 11 days), A-Bab (Byron White Labs), cryptolepsis and minocin. It's been a couple of years since he's had a severe relapse. He's not healthy but he is up and doing, headaches are minimal, he sleeps OK, mood swings are minimal, memory is good. Compares well to 5 years ago when he could barely get off the couch or remember the plot of a movie he was watching.
18 months of Atovaquone and minocycline/doxy/zith (rotated) did it for me, 1 relapse, 6 months of repeat treatment, no babs symptoms since then.
He and I were infected at about the same time.

I have found that adding Bactrim into the mix is hitting both. I am on zith, rifampin, plaquenil, and bactrim, but I also do Bab-2 drops. Adding bactrim has been dealing well with the Babs for me.
However, I should say that I have treated it previously with malarone, and I did a clindamycin/qualquin cycle. Right now is treating the residuals.
