Son just tested highly positive for this. Any experiences or input would be appreciated.

I was surprised that my wife responded to frequency treatments for this. She is symptom free most of the time so I did not suspect another coinfection. I actually was treating myself but she felt pain as I ran it, much like her early Lyme treatments.
All I can tell you is that two other people with Lyme ran the same frequencies, and they gathered from their response that they likely had Brucella also. It must be pretty common with Lyme.
It is pretty easy to reduce using frequency treatments. It appears to reproduce slowly, similar to Lyme.
I have not identified any symptoms associated with it from personal experience. Treating it causes leg pain in the feet and lower legs particularly. Some shoulder pain and lower back pain.
This is pretty new to me so I am sure I will learn more along the way.

I don't have any experience with it, but just went to a Lyme conference last night where one of the LLMDs that spoke said that he has had 6 patients in 6 months test positive for Brucellosis.
Apparently it is "supposed" to be "rare" in the USA with one in a million getting it.
I know that it generally requires long term antibiotic treatment with 2 antibiotics - doxy and rifampin are commonly used to treat it.

I tested positive for Brucella Abortus. Apparently it is "rare" in the US. Health department called me and asked when i had been out of the country. Aren't they funny.
Couldn't really tell the difference between that and the other co-infections i have. Sorry i can't be of more help. I did feel the best while on rifampin though. Good luck!!

D Bergy, what frequencies are you trying? 1423 & 748?
Thanks, Lymetoo, I saw this thread before and just skimmed through it again. What I find interesting is the comment that hyperbarics could make this worse.
I'm not a doctor, so don't know if that is true or not about brucella, but 4 1/2 months of nonstop mHBOT was not helping me; in fact, my joints kept cracking worse, especially in the chamber. I will have to verify the comment about it being a gram negative aerobic bacteria, and that hyperbarics would/could be counterproductive.
I have been tested for brucella, but was negative.
I do have a good many risk factors for it, having grown up around goats, cows, dogs, and drinking raw milk for years.
The ABX that help me the most are the ones that are used in the treatment of brucellosis; ones like Rifampin, Cipro, Levaquin, etc. Those are the bart drugs, too, though.
Brucellosis has a few unique symptoms such as lower back problems, sacro-ilitis, coordination issues, reproductive tract issues, and even malarial like symptoms.
My, I'm glad this infection subject was brought up. I had searched into it a few months ago, and it may be good for me to look at it again.

My friend "AJ" in the thread I posted said she thinks she got it from raw milk while in Europe. I'm sure you could get it from raw milk just about anywhere. You can also get Q fever from raw milk.

Just from what I am seeing here and elsewhere, I don't think this is rare at all. I think it is rarely tested for. I have to believe this is tick borne to have so many people with Lyme that have it. It's symptoms, if there are any later on, could easily be lost among other infections.
I only discovered it because it is one of those alleged weaponized bacterium. I already had the other, mycoplasma so I thought why not try Brucella also. I don't have Lyme, but do have Crohns and the damped immune system is similar to Lyme but some other pathogens involved.
The frequencies I used are for both Brucella melitensis & Brucella abortus. 1423, 748, 643, 695 Hz.
Ran them again tonight on my wife. She felt it briefly, but nothing like the first couple of times. I am pretty sure I can eliminate this fairly easily.
Now I am wondering if some of what I was interpreting as Lyme symptoms was actually from Brucella.

JCarl-i would like to be tested for this. I am 80% I have brucella also. I do not think it is rare, either.
If you don't mind me asking, which specialty lab tested your son?
The only one in BC I know of is the BC CDC and they friggin suck!
I would rather pay to find the truth at a specialty lab.
PM me please if you are not comfortable posting public about the lab.
Thank you kindly

I was one of the ones that Dbergy is talking about getting a strong reaction to the Brucella frequencies.
Greta, I strongly suspect Brucella for me as well, and you and I have almost identical symptoms.
I have horrible bone pain in my legs and hips and (butt?) bones. It feels like someone is literally breaking my bones when it flares up.
When I ran the Brucella frequencies it took the bone pain to a whole 'nother level. It also caused notable foot pain and lots of other symptoms that I've always attributed to Bart.
Now I'm not so sure. Going to ask my Lyme doc about getting tested the next time I see him.

Interesting Lauren. I would be curious to see how the treatment differs from bart....they are both intracellular gram negative infections and I think rifampin is tx for brucellosis?

Yes CD57, very similar to Bart. Unlike Bart though, it's very slow growing and therefor extremely difficult to culture - often taking 6-8 weeks to grow. This means long term treatment. Ideally, you want to treat with three abx. Rifampin, doxy and Zith or rifampin, doxy and IM streptomycin.

Lymielauren and CD-i really think this is something I may have.
It explains why I felt best on rifampin zith and IV roceph-it was hitting lyme bart and brucella.
Also explains why after stopping it in January-symptoms are back and worse than ever.
I am supposed to go back on rifampin and zith shortly, I will ask for IM streptamycin also.
Also some brucella tests, although readin about it, it is very hard to culture. So the test results will depend on my immune system, which is currently very poor.
Please keep me posted if you guys test or treat for this. Posts: 4358 | From British Columbia, Canada | Registered: Jun 2013

*And check out the thread in that link that Lymetoo posted above.
At least Brucellosis is recognized as a chronic illness in the medical establishment! Or that it can be....unlike some other things we know about.

I've read that brucellosis and mycoplasma may have been mixed with the Lyme bacteria to make it more difficult to deal with, as part of biowarfare in the first half of the 20th century - if such is the case, we would be testing positive for brucellosis, and mycoplasma too.
