Ok, so I bought Buhner's Book Healing Lyme, as well as his Bartonella Coinfections book. But after 3 weeks of taking the supplements from the Healing Lyme Protocol, I now look on his website and see that it's not even the same. Same goes for the Bartonella Protocol from the Co-Infections book.
The Andrographis I have been taking for weeks is not even on the protocol listed on the site. What gives?
And there's things missing from the Bart one too.
So which should I follow. The book or the site?
And can someone please direct me on the best place to buy all this stuff? All the Tinctures will take weeks to make. I want to get started now. Plus I have no idea how to make a tincture.

Get the Coinfections book. All the information is there - where to purchase, or how to make if you want to. The books are more up to date, although he does seem to update the coinfection protocols on the left side of the home page of his website.
You can buy the tinctures at WoodLandEssence. We buy the dried herbs at 1stChineseHerbs. They are third party tested and recommended by Buhner as well. If you are close to the border consider getting a mailbox in the US. It's cheaper to have things shipped there. Customs will often let you through without paying duty if you tell them the herbs are for lyme.
We use some tinctures and some dried herbs. I make infusions and then drink the powder along with the tea.
All of the instructions are in the books. There is no short cut. Do your research and you will help yourself.
WARNING: Everyone has different infection loads. Dosages that one person can handle may not be appropriate for someone else. Start low. 1/8 to 1/4 of Buhner's recommended dosages. Increase incrementally and slowly. Start with one herb at a time to see how it is being tolerated. Do not increase faster than 1 change every 2 weeks.

Thanks rowingmom. I did buy the books. But the protocols don't match the ones on his site.

You know, the books are just inspirational. Don't follow them word by word. Andrographis is a very potent plant, really.
Some people said here, many years ago, that they rarely herxed on improved on loads of antibiotics, but after taking just andrographis, they felt horrible (but improved after, meaning, horrible herxes).
Andro is sometimes too powerful. And you can't take for long, like cats claw, or Japanese knotweed, or astragalus. If you can't take anything for long, well, you can't heal from chronic lyme!
That's my feeling. His research lead to andrographis as a potent killer, but experience from users showed that it is less efficient than the other herbs combined. that is how I understand why andro is out now.
I wouldn't abandon it for good. I did take andro, short term, and it lowers the amount of borrelia pretty fast. But it is a strong plant, so I couldn't stand it too long. I preferred to keep on eleuthero, astragalus and cats claw, for example.
I used Buhner's herbs, added some Chinese herbs, Cowden tinctures, Dr. K's suggestions, frozen garlic, and loads of homeopathic substances. I think Buhner has good advice but, like always, it won't cure everyone. So I just used his suggestions as one more tool to help me out of lyme.

I think Andgrographis (“A”) is a great natural especially for the brain. But naturals alone are not effective for me (20 years with neurological lyme) so I take A with my antibiotics.
A did cause a severe hives type rash on my head for two months. My theory was that it was a spirochete die-off and would go away. I do not know if I was right about the spirochete die – off, but the rash did go away while I was on A. I think the rash was why Buhner became less enamored with A.
But there is a newer situation. As with any of our effective drugs, natural or pharmaceutical, such as what happened with ketek, all of a sudden our best drugs become unavailable or the formula changes and becomes less effective, or even harmful.
This has happened with A. All of a sudden certain major quality manufacturers, like the Himilayan (sp?) brand stopped making A or with 1st Chinese (Herbs/Drugs?) re-introduced A when nothing was wrong with the supplement.
One tincture of A I was on I feel really went down in quality and the store stopped stocking it. I do not think these events are accidental or coincidental.
