Hello,

I read (I think on this forum) that green tea is a good thing to drink when you have Lyme disease. Decaf was said to be better than regular. I have seen reference to hot green tea but do not remember seeing any reference to drinking cold green tea. Memory is not the best at the moment. I am not a big fan of drinking hot tea, I much prefer room temp to cold tea. Though, as winter approaches, hot tea may sound a lot better.

I would love to read your thoughts, comments, experiences with green tea.

Thanks

I drink organic green tea iced almost daily. I load it up with mint from the garden. I love it and it seems to make me feel a little better.

I drink Green Tea all day long and have for months. I like it. Don't think it makes a lick of difference.

Mvdr: My sister and I were just talking about cooking or steeping some mint down to make a strong base, then freezing it in ice cube trays. Then I can add a mint ice cube to my green tea through the winter months.

She also suggested some licorice root. She thinks it may give enough of a sweet aftertaste that I can eliminate all the sweetener from my tea.

LindenMom: Thanks for the input. Green tea is tasty. Even if it doesn't seem to do any good, it still tastes good and therefore will not be a disappointment.

Thank you!
