Has anyone been prescribed Lamictal along with their other meds for Babsiosis? Looking at the PI, it is used for seizures. Thanks in advance for your help.

Lamictal is commonly used as a mood stabilizer, too.

My doctor has me on it along with Lyrica for pain. He said they work together - somehow (can't remember). I have never taken it by itself.

Years ago my doctor put me on Lamictal, he said he took it too as it protects the brain.

But it caused my lips to become numb so I stopped taking it. I think I was on it too short a time to know if I felt it made any difference.

I take Lamictal, Lyrica, Celebrex and an antidepressant. I guess between the four they are to help with my mood swings, pain and inflammation.

Some of these take time to buildup in your system, so unless you are having a weird reaction (like numb lips), you may not notice much at first.

I've tried going off a couple of these, though, and immediately went back on them. At least until this Lyme thing is over. They seem to help for now.
