We use F13180 the powdered herb by NuHerbs. They are apparently 3rd party tested for contaminants (according to Julie McIntyre).

We use 1/4 tsp infused into tea 3x daily. Drink the herb along with the water after it has cooled (covered so the volatile compounds don't evaporate). Higher doses of this herb produced panic attacks and palpitations for both my daughter and myself. We were trying to work our way up to whatever Buhner's recommended dosages are, but didn't have much luck getting that high. Lower dosages work as well, if that is all you can handle.

Our daughter tested positive for bartonella through Igenex, IND lyme and negative for Babesia microti and Babesia duncani.

Buhner's full bartonella protocol (minus l-arginine) held her at the 80% she had attained with abx treatment for 8 months after abx were weaned, with no signs of backsliding. They probably would have kept her there indefinitely.

But it was only after I trialed the combination tincture CSA from Buhner's babesia protocol, that she herxed with babesia symptoms and was then clinically diagnosed with a babesia-type-organism by our LLMD (a trail of malarone had previously not caused the same herx reaction).

Only by adding CSA (12 drops 2x daily) to the bartonella protocol did we finally get FULL RESOLUTION of cognitive/executive function symptoms that have been plaguing her since early childhood. And it was pretty much immediate. Teacher called, people noticed. It was that impressive.

We are using:

- 1/4 tsp Japanese knotweed powdered herb (1stChineseHerbs) in infusion TID
- 1/4 tsp Japanese knotweed tincture (WoodLandEssence) TID
- 1/4 tsp houttuynia powdered herb (1stChineseHerbs) in infusion TID

- 5 drops Red Root tincture (WoodLandEssence) TID
- 1 drops Bidens tincture (WoodLandEssence) QD
- 12 drops CSA tincture (WoodLandEssence) BID
- 1/4 tsp turmeric tincture (OrangeNaturals) BID
- 1/4 tsp ginger tincture (OrangeNaturals) TID
- 1/4 tsp hawthorne tincture (OrangeNaturals) QD
- 1/4 tsp milkthistle tincture (OrangeNaturals) QD
- 3 drops organic cilantro tincture TID
- 1/2 tbsp. diatomaceous earth BID
- 500 mg Nature'sWay Astragalus Mon, Wed, Fri
- 2x caps ColdFx (extract of American ginseng) Tues, Thurs, Sat.
- 2x caps Nature'sWay Garlicin daily.
- 600 mg magnesium citrate powder daily in divided doses (200mg am, 100mg afternoon, 300mg bedtime).
- 1000 mg vit c powder TID
- 1 capsule Swanson Activated B-Complex Mon, Wed, Fri
