Lymetoo, thank you so much for this video!!!Fantastic!!!
During my Lyme treatment I was told to keep myself well hydrated, but it have not occurred to me (even after POTS diagnosis 2012) how severely I have been dehydrated.
I drink a lot of water sometimes add salt tablets, but not able to retain it.
So I had an appointment with endocrinologist last week to have this issue checked and I wish I had done it long time ago.
Again Thanks for the video!

FANTASTIC!!! Explains a lot about why we need salt. Thanks for posting. Just validates for me why salt/c works so well. :

I know, jwick! If you watch 5 minutes you are hooked! I haven't tried the salt on the tongue because I want to buy the right salt first.

I have tried it. had some in cabinet. but only did it once yesterday. I love salt, so this I like.
I drank more than I usually do yesterday to try and do the right thing with water, but life sure gets in the way. I like her idea from lecture to keep a big sippy cup or something with you all day. I would like to get one that is stainless steel or something I guess.
I do notice that at night no matter how much I drink in the day, I am so dry and my lips feel like a desert when I am going to bed.
I am sure I never drank enough water after watching this, but even yesterday I was parched. I never measured 2 liters. I guess I will.

"The True Cause of Disease" is eye opening. This woman knows her stuff! I do believe the internal (and external-Stress) environment has a real effect on our state of wellness.

I have been trying to keep up with all this water and some salt on tounge. I like it, but don't see any results. I htink I was kinda sick or something with strnage sx, so that was clouding my information vibes.
I am wondering, if you shouldn't eat and drink water, would that mean no coffee and toast? no tea and krimpets? like food with other drinks?
anyone know????

I just bought the Celtic salt too - thanks Lyme too! - but haven't tried it yet.
I was fascinated to learn the wrong kind of salt is good in some ways, but also bad in others. I have been taking thermatabs for three years now. For a a while, they were absolutely critical, I couldn't stay standing up for more than a few moments without them.
Have been off them for the past few days due to a minor stomach bug, and don't miss them as much as I thought I would. I'm also far less dehydrated than usual. very interesting.

Lisa.. You're not going to notice any huge immediate results... It is something good that you do for your body. Eventually it will pay off.
You should eventually notice the little things once your body is more hydrated.
The liquids with meals is just counter-productive to good digestion. The main point is to limit fluids when eating meals. The biggest benefits would come with complex meals, not just a snack.
I am limiting the fluids at meals, but then drinking more water say an hour later to be sure I'm getting enough water in.

This was interesting. In fact, it was so interesting that after having some adrenal issues reappear, I switched to the Celtic salt (from Himalayan) with incredible results.
That adrenal anxiety slips away almost immediately....unbelievable!
So here's my question...I feel my lyme infection is well under control and I am not currently treating. After a bout of stress I realized my adrenals were not where I thought they were....too much of an anxiety over-reaction, totally uncalled for.
I take 1/2 tsp (3 gm) of Celtic salt in a glass of water with half a lemon squeezed into it. Is this a safe amount to continue supporting adrenals on a daily basis or should I do it maybe 3-4 times a week?

You can go to the Magnesium Advocacy Group on Facebook for more information. They discuss an adrenal cocktail there that involves cream of tartar and orange juice.
