I have terrible insomnia and have taken sleeping pills (tried them all) for years. Unfortunately, I sleep for 12-14 hours a night, and I'm still exhausted for the rest of the day.
My GP (not an LLMD) says I must come off the sleeping pills somehow b/c I'm not getting "real sleep" on them.
And so my LLMD prescribed oxytocin, but I'm nervous to try it.

Wow, I would LOVE to try that! Although I'm not a doctor, I do know about oxytocin, but am not totally familliar with the rx version (vs what the body produces----or should).
Personally, I think it's a great idea! Why don't you ask your doc for printed info about it, and/or google it. And then decide.
If you don't use it, can I have your rx??!! Just kidding, of course. : - )
If you do use it, please let us know how it works out! As you can see, I have bad insomnia.
