I had been on Mepron/zithromax for a month and half, which brought brain fog and herx. I've been off this combo for a week and brain fog has become more serious, which proves to me either Lyme or Bartonella has worsened because of the combo.
I would like to go back to Mepron/Zithromax with other abx, prescription or herbal ones, that can target Lyme or Bartonella. I like to treat all at once, and not one co-infection at a time. What do you recommend?

You should look at the Burrascano guidelines on the ILADS website and talk about possible combinations based on those guidelines with your doctor.

Mepron and Zithromax is for Babesia - not bartonella.
Any of the antimalarial or antiparasite herbs can be combined with babs drugs.
The easiest thing to add would probably be artemesinin.
The Zithromax by itself was probably doing very little for either lyme or bartonella in my opinion. Just one antibiotic will do very little for either of those infections.
This is not medical advice, just my opinion based on hubby's experiences.

Dr. Burrescano recommends mepron to be taken with macrolid such as zithromax, biaxin or ketek.
I used to take ketek with amoxicillin to treat Lyme.
If I just take mepron and ketek, would that treat Lyme and Babesia? Or do I need to take mepron, ketek and amoxicillin to treat both babesia and Lyme? Has anybody on this combo before?
I just want to make sure I don't get too much toxicity from med.

Mino/Mepron/Zith was my go-to for many years. MIno/Mepron/Biaxin would be stronger.
Both cover all three, but not the cyst form of Lyme. Biaxin is much stronger against Bart than Zith.
I would say the brain fog is due to withdrawal of Babesia meds, and getting back on them is smart.
