Hi. Wondering if anyone has taken plaquinil solo...just for inflammation?

How did you feel? Did it upset your stomach? Did your hair turn white? Any eye changes?

My PC says it has helped many of her patients keep chronic Lyme at bay. I know it's used for Lupus and RA... She's willing to give it to me with abx. But, in the past it really upset my stomach with Abx, but I never tried it solo... Just curious about your experiences.

Kudzuslipper,

I have taken Plaquenil early in the diagnosis process for an auto-immune problem that I have. I have moved on to better medications but didn't have a single problem, issue, or side effect from Plaquenil.

Be well,
TheWino

I have severe arthritis and it has totally changed the quality of my life. Don't know what I would do without it! No reactions what so ever. It does take a while to work.
