Recently Dr. H has started using the Persist-er combo. INH Doxy Rifiampin?

Anyone try this?

Also vs a high dose ceftin pulse?

What are your thoughts? I have an appt next week and I know this will be a topic for me to try.

I started his pulsed combo.

1. Omnicef
2. Doxy & Avelox
3. Tindamax

Along with Cowden & some other naturals. The first cycle was better than just with the Cowden & by the 3rd cycle I came to a screeching hault in conjunction with over activity in a home move. Even after 6 weeks it is still too early to tell.

If this is for persisters based on the Lewis/Zhang efforts, I think it has to be pulsed. Those researchers pulsed four times I think, but remember, this was in a petri dish, not a person

Also, he will be estimating dosages and pulse timeframes, I'm guessing. Not sure, though. Maybe he has been in touch with one or both of the studies' authors.

Regardless, those were in vitro results. And they are for persisters only, not biofilms or resistant 'chetes, or cysts, or L-forms or other aberrant forms. Zhang has indicated he may be pursuing trials, but that might take a while. I have volunteered for the trials.

I give Dr. H credit for trying for the sake of his patients.
