My daughter was on the Paleo diet for a few years. She recently started eating more carbs and feels better than she did while eating Paleo. She hasn't needed her daily nap and she gets up without an alarm at a decent time. This is after years of sleeping until around noon and/or taking a nap in the afternoon.
The down side of this is she says she is starting to get a white tongue. How can she eat the carbs she needs on the candida diet? I have seen lists where she can't eat any grains, sweet potatoes, carrots, or fruits.
She is taking Nystatin, Diflucan, sacro b, and caprylic acid. Will this be enough if she cuts back but does not eliminate all of the carbs and stays away from fruits and refined carbs?

A white tongue is not necessarily Candida. It can also be bacterial, which in your daughters case is more likely.
Bad bacteria like carbs just as much as Candida.
