Ok my pharmacy has told me that my insurance says "no" to Tinitizole but they will pay for Metronitozole (Flagyl).
Little history. I have been treated by my an LLMD since April and have gotten to the point where my (Lyme, Bebesia, Bart) symptoms have almost gone away completely.
Currently taking: Zithro, rifampin, doxy, cefromioxine, atovaquone. (spelling?)
We are now wanting to do a cyst buster biofilm buster to finish it off. I have really hoping to do the "Tinitizole" becasue it covers both biofilms and cysts at the same time. Should I just go with the Metronitozole (Flagyl) and be satisfied because its covered??? Any advise on what to do next and how to handle this situation and the next phase of the treatment would be nice...Thanks!

Tinidazole does work better. Your insurance wont even cover the generic of tini? Whats going on with insurance companies these days. They should flat out be banned by regulation from complete removal of drugs from the formulary. Its a crime against all of us. I mean I understand limiting it to generic, but to just say no in totality? The government needs to crack down thru regulation.
