Had anyone used Taurine for sleep? Wondering if you can add melatonin with it along with magnesium. Trying to get off sleep meds but nothing seems to work well. Read it might feed yeast?

Magnesium optimizer has good reviews in Amazon. I have magnesium malate, which my LLMD recommended a while back, and the taurine powder. Just have to add the potassium to match the optimizer ingredients. Maybe a half of banana or handful of cherries? Or buy the supplement.

It's not enough to make me sleep on it's own... but I have cut way way down on sleep meds.

someone here told me to take b12 at night... a little anti-intuitive-- but it does make you sleepy, but I couldn't take the b-12 alone, it kind of made my nerve endings zing... so I take a B complex.

so my nighttime make me sleepy cocktail is this.

1/2 a capful of ReMag in water (do research Remag)
B complex
vit C (c seems to make everything work better)
Jarrow Mag Optimizer (not all the time only if I am extra wound up)
probiotic (some one here also told me helps sleep)
adore calcium chocolate disk (about twice a week)

I take gummy vitamins when ever possible (multi, b, c) ...bad I know, but since taking them things like hair nails and skin have definitely improved... I believe they actually get absorbed.

wow- it seems like a lot when I write it down... but it has been working.

Have to tell you - I had a bowl of oatmeal with half a banana cut up in it for a late dinner two nights ago And fell asleep before taking my sleep meds and slept till @ 5. I couldn't believe it!
I tried it again last night but a smaller amount. I fell asleep again but woke up @ 3am. I did put some maple syrup in so I'm going to try it tonight without. I am amazed.
I read that people who eat oatmeal every day sleep better. And the banana has the potassium. Any thoughts?
