I am feeling void (and deathly ill) so again I apologize to those who are supporting me with kind words and advice, even though I cannot at this time contribute the same to 'your' posts or sometimes even respond to the amazing kind words and suggestions offered to me. If I do live through this I will be sure to make it up !'

A lot of you on here know the struggles I've been facing the past year and some do not, but in short a lyme infection I had 10 years ago (and was on this site when very ill w it, which is why I feel comfortable talking with everyone one here because believe me typing out a message feels like climbing mount everest right now)

So to get to it, the Lyme which attacked my body years ago has recently (the past year) played a part in causing terrible auto immune diseases which are very quickly attacking my everything.

I will not write about the hardships I've had with doctors- primary, specialists,er. All of the 30 plus drs I have encountered have either refused, turned their back, completely ignored, made fun of, were rude, . Villains. Massive epidemic. They just look at you like their looking through you, hear nothing, and hand you off to the next lazy anti-empathetic doc, so on and so forth. ALL they do is look for reasons to evade treating instead of help. In any way. I am so angry I could scream but I'll save that for another time. And since I've been to so many hospitals (especially this past month, about 8) they have even more reason I guess.

Kidneys are failing now. Rapidly. I have every symptom and diagnostic lab result for rapidly progessive glomularnephritis. (yes I have presc to see a neph but time isn't on my side anymore. I can't wait, which is why I've been going to hospitals. There is one ONE lab test they look at which is still normal so they leave me and my kidneys dropping and dying.
I don't care at this point. I've hit EVERY roadblock in the med field this year, I feel it's destined. And now I'm too sick to even brush my hair, let alone get ready for phone calls, referrals, appointments, more let downs and drawbacks, yada yada.

As I will show you in my labs I have lost nearly half of my kidney function in a short period of time. And now I'm going through an acute rapid failure since my gfr has dropped 10 points in less than 2 weeks and symptoms have become worse with a few new ones. (i don't have paperwork from my last er visit which was saturday b/c this particular hospital from hell wouldn't give me my lab results... but did tell me my gfr was 88.

(Also if you look at my results from oct of last year every single thing tested on cbc was out of wack. Something happened during that time. I don't know what but since then my functions have all been slightly worse (especially gfr, blood pressure, and now nrbc cells being found in automated differential. I will post the results below. Any help is appreciated.

I have more to say about my sx and tests and will tomorrow but any advice, like always, is much appreciated

HK, I know you feel really sick. But there is nothing bad or even slightly abnormal about these labs except slightly low platelets. All of your salt levels are good and your kidney function is normal.

I can completely relate to having normal labs and feeling like death. You know your body and something is obviously wrong but I just want to reassure you that it looks to me like everything is working like it should in the background of your illness.

I think the only person who could help you get to the bottom of it is an LLMD.

I really am unable to read the test results. You would have to explain which ones I'm looking at with regard to the kidneys.

I hope you will find a doctor who can help you.

HK I am not sure where you got the idea that your kidneys are failing. On the contrary, your kidney function (creatinine, BUN) is normal, if not excellent.

Nephritis can occur in the presence of normal blood results. However, this diagnosis is done via kidney biopsy. Have you had a kidney biopsy?

Have you done a 24 hour urine? That would check to see if you are spillng protein into your urine, another indicator of kidney disease.

That's right. ANd your eosinophils this time are extremely high!!! Can be allergies, too. But that's way too high. That's not your kidneys, however.

(I have to go back to look at the rest).

Hey guys.

First thanks so much for everyone's input! Reading your messages always make me feel so much better (:

Sooo I was finally seen by a nephrologist yesterday and saw him right down kidney failure in his notes. I guess He diagnosed it based on my labs (including urine samples taken over the past few months) and symptoms. Haven't been peeing either. Sometimes it's only once a day

He didn't order a 24 hour test just took a lot of bloodwork and said he'd call me if results showed I needed to be admitted. I didn't have much time with him since they took me in as an emergency patient and he was running late for a meeting. Also hell be leaving on vacation for 2 weeks this wed (go figure) Some results will be in today/tomorrow and others will take a week.

I know my creatine and bun levels are in perfect range which I dont understand. My gfr has dropped 10 points in just 2 weeks though. From 5/19 to last week.. it is now at 88. I know he tested my gfr and said those results should be in today. I'm praying it hasn't dropped any further

I don't know what it is. Could be partakes. But im really scared my kidneys are failing. I do have an auto immune disease/s so perhaps that's why my bun creatine haven't changed yet. Oh idkkk :/

I've been feeling more sick every day this past week though

No biopsy as I've just seen the nephrologist :/ and that's what I fear it is. A rapidly progressive form of nephritis. I have EVERY sx and diagnostic lab. It all fits. And I'm scared it won't be diagnosed/treated in time

And now this guy is leaving for vacation tomorrow. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can prove I have this and need urgent care. I am just at a loss and too sick to fight. Hospitals (2) I've been to in the last week won't help. One dr actually said to me I knew you were gonna say that after I told her what I think is going on (nephritis), and then went on to belittle and ridicule me the entire time I was there while not doing one thing to help me. It was awful.

What did the nephrologist say?

Did he or she concur that you have nephritis?

Your lab tests shown here are normal.

Blessings.

"•A history that is suggestive of adrenal insufficiency, including the use and tapering of corticosteroid medications, can provide a clue that

the observed eosinophilia is associated with

adrenal insufficiency.

Hypoadrenalism (ie, Addison disease) is the most common endocrine abnormality associated with eosinophilia."

Yes, Addison's can be linked to kidney failure. It is treatable!!!

Adrenal exhaustion is not unusual in lyme.

Yes exactly - very low, safe physiological replacement dose range...

Could MitoQ "recharge" kidney macrophages so they can finish their job? Are they interfering with the GFR?

On the flip side...

Free cortisol (24 hour urine test) is done for Cushings (cortisol too high). Whereas

urine 17hydroxycorticosteroid is more indicative of *subclinical* Cushing's which might be genetic.
