Does anyone know if its safe to take Tinidazole at the same as Plaquenil? I looked on the drugs.com interaction checker and it says there is a risk of nerve damage if taken together? True or not true? thanks!

bluelyme what do u mean go immunosuppresive or carcinogenic??

I never read anywhere that Plaquenil suppresses the immune system?? And I think the carcinogenic abx is flagyl, not tindamax

i don't see why not as long as the 2 are tolerated separately. start small. some people have vision issues initially on plaquenil.

definitely detox correctly on tind...that can flatten you a couple days in if mthfr is an issue.

Plaquinil is loved by rhuemys for its immunosuppressive qualitys ..https://www.drugs.com/answers/do-either-hydroxychol-plaquinil-put-you-risk-for-298000.html

.and tjndamax is chemically very similar to flagyl.but ya i dont see studies right off
.http://www.rxlist.com/tindamax-drug.htm.

they usually get a baseljne of eyes with plaquinil. ..plaqunil will have some effect on babs . And tini will slow the flagella of organisms...

i think lyme can be carcinginic and mor dangerous too so risk vs benifit ...i am doing bvt but its not as much fun...btw my giardia survived tinidazole

I had Babs and felt the best I felt in the last 5 years on Plaquenil and Biaxin combo

but I heard Plaquenil can cause macular degeneration with certain dose and time

I was on that dose and would have been on that time but we quit before that

my LLMD never wanted to try it again - maybe s/he got second thoughts

you may want to get more information on a possible macular degeneration risk
