What are your experiences with LDN? I did look through some old posts and got some good information.
I was on a Facebook group and asked what most people thought of LDN. The comments were primarily "it gave me energy, no bad side effects".
I took two pills and whoa, it's as if I was transported back to my first symptoms. I don't think it was a herx, but who knows.
What are your experiences please?

It was awful for me. It gave me a bad psychedelic experience. I felt high as a kite and couldn't come down.
It was very unsettling.
The only way I could see it helping with pain is that I was so out of it, it was the last thing on my mind.
It was really bad.
I had spoken to someone over the phone before I took it who was on it. She seemed spun. Definitely she had energy, but she didn't have the ability to listen either.

I had good experiences with LDN,made my neurological stuff way less. Reduced pain quite a bit and I stopped tripping over my feet.
Was off it for a while noticed symptoms retuning, back on and shazam reduced gain. So twice it worked. I stopped it awhile ago as my health continues to improve.

I was on LDN for 3 years. Took 4.3 mg / night.
I made it to 90-95% recovery on it. Was out living life, working, having fun with only very mild symptoms remaining (mild twitching, night sweats, tinnitus.)
In early 2014 I stopped LDN as my LLMD and I wanted to see what would happen.
I was fine for a few months but by 2015 things started creeping back and I had a big relapse in end of 2015 that I'm still crawling out of.
I can't say for sure if the stopping the LDN lead to my relapse. All I can say is I made excellent progress while I was on LDN and I had no side effects.

I think LDN is the single best medication i have taken for immune modulation and general sense of well being.
It's the one medication i have remained on. When i began it during big antibiotic treatment i was taking 4.5mg. I now take 3.0. When i occasionally i miss it my joints are bad, low energy and low mood.

Interesting information. I was given this drug Naltrexone to help with cravings for alcohol. 50 mg tablets. I tried taking one, had to leave work from feeling so "high". Made me feel like I had to stretch my muscles constantly. Sort of a flashback to the 70's for me.
I then took half dose after a few weeks. Did the same thing. Of course, it stopped the cravings...for everything! Including food! But dang-it, I just couldn't take it. I wish I could.
What side effects did it cause others?
