Wondering how many of you are taking Teflaro, Cubicin, or Doxy IV, either all three together or just one or two

I would love to hear how things go with your new combo. No one else has spoken of anything like this one.
A few people took Daptomycin aka Cubicin (not to be confused with dapsone) about a year or so ago. They either had a hard time taking the med as prescribed or did not experience any benefits from it.
I've talked with my doctor about it but he has such mixed results that I'm unsure if I want to fight insurance for it. If you and others do well, I will certainly ask about trying it.
You have a good combo if you can tolerate it all. Hopefully it will bring you much much closer to wellness!

I was prescribed the 3 but the llmd told me to hold off on the doxy, try one at a time for at least 2 weeks each and as each one's reaction was known to add the next. I can't believe no one is talking about this here as it is supposed to be the new treatment studied at John Hopkins for Lyme. I haven't started it yet, as the doc wanted me to treat my viruses first.

Doxy IV is super expensive. I was quoted at $1000 per week.

That is disgusting!! Doxy used to be dirt cheap! Not as cheap for IV, but not expensive---until the drug companies saw they could make a fortune on this old, cheap med.
It really makes me mad how they can make so much money on people's misery---to the point that people can't afford what they need. What a broken system.

Yeah and that was the quote that I got from a very reasonable pharmacy Infuserve America. I've gotten ceftriaxone and azithromycin for very affordable prices.
So I'd call ahead on the IV doxy and get a price quote first!
