Wow, this is really getting tough. . .

This morning great suffering. Most intense pressure in head. Splitting headache, insane tinnitis, dizziness, sinus, blurry eyes, burning tongue, sore throat.

Plow through.

I seriously think if I could just chop off my head, I might be able to live through this dreaded disease.

My head really serves no purpose at this point of time anyway.

Every morning it feels like I had major surgery the night before. I not kidding.

I know I sound like a broken record and I apologize.

Usually I ll take alka selzer gold and I feel immediate relief.

But none of my box of tricks seem to work anymore.

What if I chop off my left arm, it ll take my mind off of my head?

Now that time I was kidding...

Anyone have any home remedies?

Are there any good cranio-sacral massage therapists in your area? That always seems to help release some of my head pressure.

Another thing you could try is acupuncture. Before I moved, I used to go to a neighborhood community acupuncture clinic to help with some of my symptoms and also to help me relax. I noticed there were some acupuncturists whose work helped me more than others.

Tinnitus, head pressure, buzzing and sizzling sensations in my head, squeezing, burning, tingling, ... these are my symptoms. [Frown]

Acupuncture and cranial therapy both help. Soft background music helps to make my tinnitus less noticeable too - but of course it is still there. I just don't notice it quite as much.

I take some nutritional supplements (vinpocetine, lysine and lithium orotate) that may all help to reduce my tinnitus and related symptoms a bit. They haven't gotten rid of my tinnitus or head pressure, but I do think that my symptoms would be worse without them. I hope this helps!

Thanks.

Acupuncture around the corner. Will call to check fee.

Jordana posted a link over a month ago for tinnitis background music that I have been using.

Sorry to hear that you're suffering with intense head pressure. You may find Inclined Bed Therapy to be helpful. Please take a moment to look at the following article...

https://www.nexusmagazine.com/articles/doc_view/336-inclined-bed-therapy-a-new-angle-on-health
"There are some things in life that we seem to accept without question. For most of us in Western countries, sleeping in a horizontal position is one of them. However, after studying the circulatory system in plants, one man questioned the logic in our flat bed theory. Andrew K. Fletcher has found that raising a bed six to eight inches at the head seems to generate remarkable improvements for many people suffering conditions such as circulatory and respiratory issues, diabetes, leg ulcers, migraines, multiple sclerosis, oedema, Parkinson's disease, skin problems, spinal cord injuries, varicose veins and many more."

Call your doctor on Monday.

What meds are you on? What pathogens are being treated?

I ask because Lyme & Babesia are the most common culprits for us. It can also be Bart, but in my experience, the first 2 are the worst.

Two possible fixes or help: coffee enemas and magnesium. Coffee enemas are a life-saver with all things Lyme.

Magnesium can be taken orally, but for quickest effect, you can even add some epsom salts to the coffee enema. Even tiny amounts can help, as in 1/16-1/8 tsp.

This is NOT medical advice, of course! This is from my very long experience.

My energy and sense of well-being increased just days into my Inclined Bed Therapy (IBT) experiment. I started sleeping inclined because I was having bouts of vertigo. It resolved the dizziness for me. More people need to learn about IBT and give it try. It's so simple, inexpensive and effective. Just raise the head of your bed 6-8 inches using blocks, books or bed risers. I never want to go back to sleeping flat again.

Holy smokes high brix,

I listened to you, jacked up my bed, passed out at 7:30pm. Woke up at 12:30am to use bathroom.

Went back to sleep and slept till 8:00am.

That's 12 1/2 hours of sleep. I was so worn down and sick.
Feeling better. Thank you.

High brix, if one uses bed risers on just one end of the bed, can an average bed frame take it without breaking in the middle or something? Maybe a dumb questions, but I'm just trying to understand if this would structurally hold up, as I have a really heavy mattress). I know Bed Bath Beyond etc. sell bed risers

I second coffee enemas as immediate relief from a lot of Lyme-related and esp. Herx-related and various treatment-related symptoms. Just be sure to do correctly so you're not making yourself more wired!

Hmmm... I am finding this VERY interesting. I have a mom with M.S. that can hardly walk and gets a swollen foot... and a dad with parkinsons... and SIGH... then there is me with the deadly lyme combo.

I think we ALL are going to try this. Such a simple thing couldn't hurt!

Great to hear Bonnie! I was happy to read your last post. For me, I knew that IBT was working almost immediately. It's an important piece of my health puzzle. I started sleeping inclined about 8 months ago and haven't looked back.

Bart, I have a standard metal bed frame and haven't had any issues inclining it. I started out using wooden blocks and then purchased some inexpensive bed risers on Amazon...
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C3RRDPW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If you're concerned about your specific bed, I would contact Andrew Fletcher. He's the IBT Founder and expert

Foxy, sorry to hear about the different health challenges in your family. Best wishes as you all give inclined sleeping a try. When I heard about IBT last year, I didn't have anything to lose except my vertigo. The dizzy spells stopped shortly after starting. As mentioned above, my energy and sense of well-being increased just days into my Inclined Bed Therapy experiment

I've been going through this the last couple weeks. crazy excruciating head pressure, stabbing ear pain, neck pain and godawful tinnitus.

I hate to say it but I understand why some people commit suicide. I only get relief when I sleep and I get 3-4 hours a night. it's physically exhausting.

i can take most of it but not the tinnitus and jaw
pain.

if you figure something out, let me know. so far nothing helps.

I feel for you.

randibear, I have read that tinnitus can come from a lack of blood circulating in the inner ear.

You could try arginine, Ginko,or magnesium...

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwi-4szU8-jRAhUp0YMKHSl3BRkQFggiMAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Faminoacidstudies.org%2Ftinnitus%2F&usg=A FQjCNENwHmZsIFPW9pOvP9zdo2yhlAK5Q&sig2=qQyi_zU0CMsvm84I_TFw3Q

I personally have found arginine and magnesium to help with sensitive hearing... which is also AWFUL.

All the best! and thank you high brix for posting!

Have you seen the post from 1-29-17, "Headache Pressure Relief for My Daughter"? It tells how the daughter suffered for seven years from bad head pressure and headaches and then achieved total relief from a certain method. Please check it out, its now about two subject entries above yours.

randibear. 🐻 please try the Inclined Bed Therapy.

My vertigo, dizziness, and tinnitis are so scary and debilitating, I felt like throwing myself in front of a train.

2nd night of sleeping, and I mean really good sleeping, with my bed inclined has helped ALOT.

Dear sweet Jesus,
Thank you for bestowing this good day upon me.

BTW, I still have chronic fatigue, chronic pain, chronic Neuro-Lyme, ya da ya da ya da . . . one day at a time. 🍕

I'm very sorry for the suffering you're going through. I have written a message that is titled "Head Pressure Relief for My Daughter" that I wrote on 1/29/2017 that explains how she eliminated her "head pressure" headache after 7 years of pain. I hope it helps give an idea of how to approach this symptom and give some hope also. She is truly "head pressure" free at this point and has been for the past 3 to 4 months. Take care and I hope you get relief soon.

I had extremely bad bout of candida for over a year.

Since treatment started end of November, I have had remarkable improvement in that area.

Yesterday, saw a picture of me taken 3 months ago.
Such a sad, pathetic creature. Head down, eyes slits, mouth in downward frown. Wrenched in pain. So very, very, sick.

Made me cry when I saw it.

I have improved a lot. Little subtle gains not noticeable when you 're going through it.

But I still suffer other body infections.

And it hurts me greatly to think about all the doctors I have seen that dismissed me.

I mean, how can you look at my picture and clinically not realize this woman is on deaths door ?

Lyme has got to be "The Crime of the Century."

I had it too for a long time, my whole head,
face, teeth everything would hurt. I was like a living zombie. The ONLY thing that worked was 2-3 years of Babeisa treatment. It finally went away.

my daughter has had a headache since 1/1/17. Has been really tough, her mood had been really upbeat before this even though everything was always going wrong / hurting her.

Thanks so much for all this great info. I think we will try IBT TONIGHT!

For those who have treated Babesia, did you use Mepron? And if so any tips for taking...she can not get it down.

AJB, sorry to hear of your daughter's chronic headaches. I hope she finds relief soon! 'Intracranial pressure increases and overall brain circulation diminishes when lying flat'. Sleep posture can have a powerful impact on quality of sleep and overall health

randibear, have you tried a good chiro yet? If not, look for one who has advanced training in ACT. They all can do ACT but advanced training practitioners are the best.

AJB said... "For those who have treated Babesia, did you use Mepron? And if so any tips for taking...she can not get it down."

I put it in a small piece of hotdog, mask it with peanut butter, or wrap it in cheese and they gobble it right down.

OH WAIT! That's for the dog!

You know, I have never heard of someone having trouble getting it down before, but can certainly understand how it could be difficult.

Many don't like the taste, so not sure if that is the problem here, or the thickness (texture) is causing the problem, or she has a limited swallowing ability.

Might you consider Malarone (in pill form) instead of the Mepron? It is a combo of atovaquone (Mepron) and proguanil. Cheaper too.

Or, and not trying to be funny...

The old-fashion way- hold your nose and swallow? Then chase it with Hawaiian Punch? (As opposed to Jack Daniels or peppermint schnapps.)

I'm afraid if you added it to a liquid (like her favorite juice) to thin it down you'd still have a problem and it would taint the taste of the juice and she still wouldn't get it down.

Don't know how old she is, so I don't know if the "I'm your mother and I said to take it" would be helpful?

Obviously, I don't know how to fix the situation. So sorry too! If you do find something that works please lettuce no. OK?

Good luck!
